Earl Clark - Founder - Director of Development

Earl Clark is a graduate of Portland State University and Benson Polytechnic High School.  Earl Clark was a three-year varsity starter at Benson accompanied by three all PIL conference honors and two team defensive player of the year awards.

Earl played Division 1 basketball at Pacific University where his team won the Big West Conference Championship and played in the National Invite Tournament.

Earl has coached youth basketball since 1995.  Varsity Assistant Coach at Benson Polytechnic High School 1999-2005; Varsity Head Coach at LaSalle Catholic College Prep 2005-2009; Personal Basketball Instructor at Hoop Dream Basketball 2009-2011.

He currently is the Head Coach of the Benson Polytechnic High School Boy's Team.

Earl currently lives in Portland and enjoys spending family time with his Dad, Mom and two sisters.

Hasan Artharee - Founder - Director of Operations

Hasan Artharee is a graduate of Portland State University and Central Catholic High School. While at Central Catholic he was a two-year varsity starter, Team Most Valuable Player, Team Captain and all Mt. Hood Conference two years.

Hasan played Division 1 basketball at Portland State University where he was all Big Sky conference player. He was the Captain and Co-MVP. At Portland State Hasan ranks in the top 10 all time in field goal percentage and games played.

After college he played 4 seasons semi pro in the International Basketball League and 9 years with Multnomah Athletic Club top travel team.

He has been coaching basketball for 13 years serving as a graduate assistant at PSU in 2002-2004; Portland Legends 14U AAU travel team 2004; Central Catholic High School Head JV coach and assistant varsity coach 2006-2007; Coast All-Stars AAU team 17U 2007-2009; Parkrose High School head varsity assistant 2010-2011.

Hasan lives in Portland with his wife Celeste and has four sons Isaac, Khaled, Kareem and Emil.


Michael Kafoury played varsity basketball at Cleveland High School in SE Portland, where he graduated in 2006. He attended D-3 Guilford College in Greensboro, North Carolina, where he trained with the basketball team for his lone semester at the school. Michael decided to move back to Portland to be closer to his family and focus on school. 

He attended Portland State University where he earned his Major in Political Science and Minor in Law and Legal Studies. He currently lives in NE Portland.

Michael has worked with SCORE Athletics for over four years and has credentials and certifications with the NFHS, Child Abuse Prevention Training, Anabolic Steroid and Performance Enhancement Training.

Michael is currently working to become a certified Portland Public School employee and will be coaching the JV2 boys team at Grant High School this season. In addition, Michael will run the grade school youth basketball program at SCORE with director Hasan, as well as working as the SCORE foundation's Executive Director. 


Bobby Barber graduated from Benson High School in 1977 as double sport varsity letter man. He played 2 years of college ball. He played in the AAU, as well as the PRO-AM for a number of years.

Bobby has been involved with coaching and working with kids since the early 90s. He has worked in the background assisting the Benson High School basketball program for a number of years. Bobby has been a Head Coach with the S.C.O.R.E program for the last five years, as well as an Assistant Youth Football Coach for the Reynolds Raiders.

Bobby worked in the community with kids as a mentor, big brother, foster parent and crisis counselor for many years.

Bobby lives in Portland with his wife Jeanette and children. His oldest daughter, Vanessa who is currently serving our country in the US Army, and his other two children, Jasmine and Robert who attend local high schools in Portland.
